Joanna is a married mom of three beautiful children, one of which has autism and an intellectual disability. She is a proud kidney donor and enjoys speaking at events for VCU in efforts to educate others about living kidney donations and is always advocating for her son and others.

Pippin Ward

Pippin was raised in Culpeper, VA and moved to Richmond to attend VCU. Her hobbies include listening to music; mostly being an avid Harry Styles fan, spending quality time with friends and family, and playing with her cat, Freya. A fun fact about her is that she has over 25 tattoos! Pippin enjoyed her time at RCIG for her internship experience, and is now part of the team as our Volunteer Coordinator!

Hailey Vallone

Hailey was born and raised in Bristow, Virginia, and moved to Richmond to attend VCU. Some of her hobbies include: going to concerts, collecting vinyl records, and thrifting in Carytown. She loves to spend time in Williamsburg, VA with her friends and family. Hailey loved her time as an intern at RCIG and is excited to enter her new role assisting Joanna Wylie with community relations & fundraising!

Ellie was born and raised in Glen Allen, Virginia. She is obtaining her B.A. in Psychology with a concentration on Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington. She plans on becoming an ABA therapist. Ellie loves spending time with her family and friends, fostering kittens, and traveling. Ellie started out as a volunteer in 2020, and is now a part time Coach when she is home from college!
