RCIG has guidelines that we ask all of our athletes to follow. These guidelines provide a basis for learning and practicing social skills and respect for coaches and peers. The guidelines are as follows:

  1. Keep my hands and feet to myself
  2. Use safe feet and legs that walk
  3. Be respectful to everyone
  4. Follow the coach’s directions
  5. Use kind words in the gym
  6. Behavior that may appear “scary” to others can’t happen at the gym (This includes hitting, kicking, yelling in anger, using bad language, threatening others, and spitting.)

If any athlete is having a hard time with the gym guidelines, we may ask them to take a break with us in a quiet section to calm their body and mind before re-entering the class. This is always okay to ask for if needed! We never mind it if an athlete needs a break to reset.
